In the heart of the Conca d'Oro, in Torbole sul Garda, a new landmark dedicated to sailing sports takes shape: an architectural ring that unites sailing and surfing clubs into a single center of excellence. Its pure, distinctive geometry embodies both the sports and the landscape vocation of the area. The intervention is configured as a technical architecture, light and permeable, composed of dry-assembled metal elements and a roof rhythmic by slats, which provide shading and visual transparency. Under this structure a radial sequence of volumes and empty spaces is arranged, defining a large central void: a place of orientation and relationship, designed to accommodate sports activities but also moments of relaxation, bathing and outdoor life. Each function settled in the volumes enjoys a double opening, to the lake and to the interior space, while the differentiated heights allow the formation of terraces overlooking the landscape. It is in this balance between form, function and context that a circular architecture comes to life that is capable of not only accommodating, but connecting sport, nature and community.
