The project was developed around two main themes: materials and natural light. By restoring the existing marble flooring and introducing new surfaces in Grigio Alpi Vicenza stone -together with custom walnut wood furniture- the design establishes a dialogue between existing and newly added materials. Particular attention was given to natural light and air circulation, which were enhanced through the selective removal of partitions and the careful placement of bespoke furniture elements. These interventions allow light and air to flow freely through the spaces, creating a bright, open, and harmonious living environment. Together with the whole furniture, the project turns out as a vibrant space.
The bespoke wooden partition allows light and air to permeate throughout the apartment and, when needed, can rotate to define a private bedroom.
Natural and textured materials represent the core of the project. The existing marble flooring in Breccia Damascata dialogues with Grigio Alpi Vicenza stone, together with the neutral light color resin and walnut custom furniture. For the bedrooms, the exhisting wooden flooring has been restored, as well.
